REFINING SERVICES

SMELTING SERVICES
JOY Refinery provides a full range of smelting services to customers throughout the region. We specialize in using an electric induction furnace to smelt gold and silver. We can transform large lots of gold and silver into grain, or smaller category bars, in a variety of sizes and purity levels, using this environmentally friendly method. With the highest level of quality and accuracy possible, we can convert gold and silver in accordance with the client’s requests thanks to our expertise.
ASSAYING SERVICES
Our lab’s duties include metal analysis, research and development (R&D), and gold assaying. Assaying determines the purity of gold and silver by keeping track of the metal’s quality throughout the refining process. Traditional fire assay and spectrometry are both used in the assaying process at JOY Refinery. All materials, whether Doré or scrap, that arrive at the refinery are melted, and samples are taken. Each sample is typically divided into three portions: one for our customer, one for us, and one for arbitration, as deemed necessary. The goal of R&D is to advance assaying technology and procedures. Our chemists and engineers base their ongoing technique development on years of personal experience in the field.
GOLD AND SILVER MINTING SERVICES
JOY Refinery creates its own dies. The Die Making & Minting division creates coins, medals, and other specialized products using cutting-edge technology and cutting-edge machinery. A large selection of designs and shapes are available from JOY Refinery, along with a large selection of decorative motifs. Our team of operators and designers is equipped with all the necessary knowledge and tools to provide our customers with a full range of options related to gold and silver minting. We typically have the material on hand to finish even the most difficult minting jobs in the shortest amount of time thanks to these services and our ability to refine and process gold and silver.
